For Electra, a project was launched to clad electrical exchange cabins, designed with an innovative approach that combines functionality and aesthetics while enhancing safety, durability, and the harmonious integration of the cabins into the urban environment.
The project features cladding made of horizontal overlapping metal slats.
The slats, angled to protect against the elements, also provide natural ventilation, while the modular design allows for quick installation and easy access to the integrated panels, seamlessly blended into the continuous slat pattern.
The paneling is designed to ensure proper airflow on all sides and convenient maintenance access, without top covers that could obstruct ventilation.
The slat profile creates a modern, linear effect, ideal for integration into urban settings, while the metallic finish ensures long-lasting strength and durability.
Launched in 2025, the project has already seen the installation of an initial site in Milan, with the goal of extending the cladding to other cabins throughout the city.
